It's called Make-up NOT Mess-up

Tell the truth Ladies... Are you guilty of a mess-up with your make-up? No need to be ashamed. Well maybe you should be... Let's make this easy for you. A child can PLAY make-up. But when its time to paint the town, WE have to APPLY make-up!

A make-up application consists of foundation and or concealer, blush, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick or gloss, and at least 3 colors of BLENDED eyeshadow.

For some of you that may be too much... but whatever you do.. do it right.

For example:

If you need coverage wear it. If you don't, wear it! Believe me, if you are going to wear anything else foundation will complete and set the look.  HOWEVER, please make sure you are using the right shade. Your neck and face should be the same color. (SEE EXHIBIT A below)

If you are going to wear lipstick.. its just like coloring in kindergarten. STAY IN THE LINES (SEE EXHIBIT B below) Using  a lip liner first will help.

If you are going to wear eyeshadow, you shouldn't omit foundation because as said previously-it completes the look. And whenever you wear eyeshadow you must BLEND!!!!! Or you will end up looking like this(SEE EXHIBIT C below).

I  must admit, putting on your own lashes is a skill, if you haven't mastered it... stop attempting to do it alone. You shouldn't be able to see your lashes poking through the falsies. Mascara will help that. And you definitely shouldn't buy fantasy lashes for an everyday look. ( SEE EXHIBIT D  below- are not your everyday lashes)

Eyeliner is meant to line the eye. It shouldn't end up looking like you were a victim of domestic violence.  Eyeliner should be applied across the lash line on top and inside the rim of the eye on the bottom. Anything else is a disaster.

Eyebrows can be filled in and shaped but a shaven brow drawn on with pencil will always look like this... (SEE EXHIBIT E below)

I would also like to warn you that being frugal on cosmetics is not very smart. Although there are some fabulous, inexpensive products you can get at any drugstore. You can also go to your nearest Sephora and or MAC and get the advice and recommendations you need for YOUR skin type. NICKI MINAJ PINK LIPSTICK IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. Go home and practice what you've learned with your new products.... you can even search Youtube for help from artists who live to make make-up tutorials. CHECK OUT QUEEN OF BLENDING ON YOUTUBE! As a make-up artist, I admire her work.
