BET THE GAME- Game ON or OFF?

Okay so last weeks premiere of The Game on BET was not what I had long anticipated. I don't know about the other fans but the show was always enjoyable for me because it was entertaining thanks to Tasha Mack and I genuinely liked the characters. Didn't care for Jenae too much but that may be attributed to the script. Melanie was always making poor choices but  her consequences were fun to see. Jason was the cheap and petty type but oh so lovely to look at. Pooch was an amateur at acting but he kept Derrwin a likeable kinda guy. And although Malik was a cocky, momma's boy, at least he cared for her and was compassionate about football. Kelly, one of favs after seeing how she handled herself during the divorce meeting last season, was ditzy and a lush. Who wouldn't love her? Brittany's acting was HORRIBLE but she was the perfect little mixed girl for the couple. So a sacrifice was clearly made.


NOW THIS SEASON .... OH BOY WHAT A MESS ALREADY


Ok Melanie, Really? You quit medicine to become Mrs. Derrwin Davis? Which means what now? Photoshoots, nice whips, designer bags. Money changes people quick. She's starting to look alot like Kelly Pitts to me. Without medicine, if she loses Derrwin, she won't have nothing but HIS money. She won't be able to do anything without him.... and some females are ok with that. But it looks very weak and pathetic. Why not continue medicine? Something she has the passion for and can fall back on if her and Derrwin ever split? I'm so over her. On top of the fact that I feel like she is going to keep the "false DNA test" a secret and have Derrwin find out on his own.. won't take long cause Janae ain't having it. She's after Derrwin's money and heart as well. Now all of sudden she wanna rock a fohawk and jenie ponytail and go out her way to get the same bag she saw Melanie rockin. WHO DOES THAT? Janae was a wreck last season- all she knew was tee- shirts, shorts and she kept her hair in a mean wrap. But like I said, money changes people. Now Derrwin is the Saber's star player and everyone wants a piece. I really hope Melanie mans up and gets it together. I hope they all do. Melanie HAD BETTER tell Derrwin the new results from DJ's paternity test ASAP.


Jason and Kelly should get written off! I loved them before but NOW. She didn't have no problem turning down his money and all the cars he offered her prior to the divorce. But now that's its final, she wants it all. Just like a Gold Digger. I wanna slap her, Im so pissed at her. Reality show?? You need a reality check. You living off his money boo. She's just getting a real job and who knows if she's even still with the agency. Don't get me started on how the new Brittany is this ghetto 24 year old looking chick. Last I check Brittany should be 11 yrs old at the most. This new actress don't look mixed or nothing. Where they do that at? Jason of course is bitter about Kelly taking all his money and daughter and he should be. But imma need Kelly to tone it down alot, possibly get back with Jason, AND for the producers to bring back the old Brit Brat. I miss her bad acting lol.


Tasha Mack will forever be the funny, adlibing Tasha but her new boo is such a weak fling. Its no doubt they look good together but she wants to keep him low key. Of course! But what's the use of having eye candy like that if you not gonna show it off? When Stella got her groove back, she let it all hang out. Hasn't she realized by now that she runs all her men off? Get it together or don't be together. Go SOLO Tasha!!!!! Tired of seeing good men leave you.


And now Malik is lashing out cause Derrwin is getting what used to be his attention. Tasha doesn't represent him, he lives alone and life sucks for him. That's not the Malik I grew to like. He never had to sleep with anyone's woman to validate him AND now he's doing that with Meagan Goode. Ugh. As if she doesn't play enough slutty roles. She's the owner of the Sabers' wife and sleeping with Malik... and it's no big secret with Malik. He is actually sporting her around in public. WOW. That Malik has always been bold though. But who does that? We all know Tee Tee was his road dog but now he's treating him like dirt and Tee Tee refuses to work for him. Seem like all Tee Tee has to his name now is a weird girlfriend and a Meals on Wheels chicken truck that Malik bought for him. Tee Tee better than me. You ain't goin buy me no chicken truck. CHICKEN TRUCK. And hold it over my head like you bought me a Tyler Perry mansion or something. What a joke.


So now that I got all that out, this show had better get better or it will be cancelled yet again. I heard its just all drama this season. But drama doesn't make a show great. Characters and their dynamic does.... I mean its the FANS who brought this show back and the FANS will take it away. So Mara, keep the drama, but also keep the dynamic of who these characters are. If we don't care about them then we won't care to watch it.
